近日,中国科学技术大学梁高林教授课题组和中国科学院强磁场科学中心钟凯研究员课题组利用稳态强磁场实验装置中的9.4T磁共振成像系统对酶促成胶的过程开展研究并取得新进展。

超分子水凝胶作为一种生物材料有着广泛的应用。然而水凝胶中封装的水分子的特征尚未阐述清楚。研究人员设计了一种能自组装成纳米纤维并且在磷酸脂酶催化作用下形成水凝胶的前体。利用流变力学分析和低温透射电镜观察以及9.4T/400mm磁共振成像仪,系统地研究和分析了不同浓度的水凝胶的力学性质、孔径大小、水扩散速率、磁共振T1和T2弛豫时间。数据结果揭示纳米纤维网络的密度反映水凝胶封装的水分子的弛豫特点,即随着凝胶浓度变大,弹性加大,凝胶孔径大小降低,会造成质子弛豫速率的增加。该研究提供了一种检测酶活性的新方法。

相关研究成果已经以《利用磁共振成像研究酶促成胶》(Using Magnetic Resonance Imaging to Study Enzymatic Hydrogelation)为题在线发表在《分析化学》 (Analytical Chemistry)杂志上。
