良性甲状腺结节是最常见的内分泌疾病之一。影像学和病理学诊断的最新进展极大地促进了甲状腺结节风险分层的改善。然而,除了手术方法外,目前的治疗方案是有限的。以下研究首次介绍了一种非侵入性疗法治疗良性甲状腺结节的结果。

 

该研究为一项为双盲、安慰剂对照研究,为期3个月,评估了含有螺旋藻、姜黄素和波斯菊的补充剂对良性甲状腺结节的甲状腺患者的疗效和安全性,该研究由34名患者完成。在一项前瞻性安慰剂对照交叉试验中,评估了2至5厘米之间的良性(FNAB记录)单个甲状腺结节患者,横跨12周(3次访问,间隔6周)。在每次访问中,对目标甲状腺结节进行二维记录。此外,研究人员还评估了甲状腺刺激素、游离甲状腺素和铜的血浆水平。

 

结果显示,V1处的平均初始结节面积为4.38±3.14cm2,V2处为3.87±2.79cm2,V3处为3.53±2.84cm2;P<0.04。给予活性物质(n=34)后,平均面积减少0.611 cm2±0.933(SD),而服用安慰剂(n=29)后,平均面积减少0.178 cm2±0.515(SD),(P=0.027)。

 

综上所述,该研究结果表明,螺旋藻-姜黄素-波斯菊的组合能有效地减少良性甲状腺结节的大小。然而,还需要进行更多的研究以阐明所建议的补充剂促进甲状腺良性结节大小缩小的确切机制。
