Obstet Gynecol:避孕方法对痤疮发生率和严重程度的影响

与其他避孕方法相比,联合使用OC似乎对痤疮和治疗升级的保护效应一般(或较小)。但是,不同避孕方法之间的绝对差异很小。
近日,妇产科权威杂志Obstetrics and Gynecology上发表了一篇研究文章,研究人员旨在评估不同避孕方法与痤疮的发生率和严重程度之间的关联。
研究人员商业索赔数据库进行了一项回顾性队列研究,评估了采取避孕的12-40岁女性从避孕开始后第一年痤疮的发病率。为了评估避孕类型与痤疮严重程度之间的关系,在一组有痤疮史的患者中进行了亚组分析,以评估开始避孕后一年中从局部痤疮药物升级为口服四环素类抗生素治疗的发生率。
在没有痤疮病史的避孕者中(N=336738),与联合口服避孕药(OCs)相比,铜宫内节育器(IUD)(风险比[HR]为1.14;95%CI为1.01–1.29)和左炔诺孕酮IUD(HR为1.09; 95%CI为1.03-1.16)与痤疮临床接触风险增加有关。在有痤疮病史(n=21178)的避孕者中,与联合OC相比,铜IUD(HR为1.44; 95%CI为1.00–2.06)和左炔诺孕酮IUD(HR为1.34;95%CI为1.10–1.64)与增加的从局部痤疮药物升级为口服四环素类抗生素的治疗风险相关。
由此可见,与其他避孕方法相比,联合使用OC似乎对痤疮和治疗升级的保护效应一般(或较小)。但是,不同避孕方法之间的绝对差异很小。
