对新生儿和儿科重症监护病房内的儿童进行监测,通常涉及硬连线装置和导管,这会给日常护理(如喂食、洗澡和换尿布)带来不便,也会妨碍其与父母的肢体接触。

芝加哥安与罗伯特 · 卢里儿童医院的 John Rogers 与同事过去曾报告过一种软体生物传感器贴片,能够监测婴幼儿的体温、心率、血压和呼吸等生命体征。但它存在操作局限,而且可提供的测量数有限。

在最新的这篇论文中,研究人员在其早期研究的基础上加以拓展,开发出了增强版的贴片,可以测量婴幼儿其他方面的状态信息,如心脏颤动、活动和身体朝向、哭声大小和哭泣频率,当然还有生命体征。

研究人员表示,能够监测这些额外信息,有望帮助及早发现与产伤、脑损伤、疼痛或压力相关的并发症。在一项涉及 50 名重症婴幼儿的试验中,研究人员发现这种生物传感器贴片与标准的临床监测系统相比,表现出更高的可靠性和准确性。
