Bone:循环DLK1的抗体抑制防止雌激素缺乏引起的小鼠骨质流失

因此,我们制备了小鼠单克隆抗小鼠DLK1抗体(MAb DLK1),使我们能够减少和量化生物可用血清DLK1的体内水平。在一个月的时间内,用MAb DLK1每周两次腹膜内注射去卵巢的(ovx)小鼠。进行DEXA-,microCT扫描和骨组织形态计量学分析。

结果显示,与对照相比,Mab DLK1处理的ovx小鼠防止了ovx诱导的骨丢失,由于骨小梁骨体积分数(BV/TV)增加和骨吸收抑制明显增加了总骨量(BMD)。在总脂肪量或骨髓脂肪细胞数量上未观察到明显变化。

综上所述,该研究结果支持抗DLK1抗体疗法的潜在用途,作为一种新型干预措施来保护免于E缺乏相关的骨丢失。
