研究表明,与出生时父亲年龄<25岁的子女相比,父亲≥35岁的子女发生血癌的风险增加35%(HR, 1.35;95% CI, 1.07 - 1.69)。如果子女没有兄弟姐妹,这种风险会进一步增加。与出生时父亲年龄<25岁的子女相比,父亲≥35岁且没有兄弟姐妹的子女发生血癌的风险增加63%(HR, 1.63; 95% CI, 1.19 - 2.23; P = 0.002)。尽管试验结果显示孕妇年龄大和无兄弟姐妹的儿童发生血癌的风险有关,但是结果不明显。

本研究结果还需进一步的研究来证实出生时父亲的年龄和子女患血癌之间的关系。
