Cell:麻省理工研究人员发现压力导致非理性决策的机制

来自麻省理工学院的研究人员报告说,啮齿类动物在长期压力暴露中会出现异常的成本和收益评估,类似于非最优决策,其中高成本/高回报期权的选择会大幅增加。同时,内侧前额叶神经元的任务相关的活动峰值的改变与纹状小体主要纹状体投射神经元目标的活动的增加相对应,与减少和延迟的纹状体快速发射中间神经元的活动也对应。慢性压力对纹状体前回路动力学的这些影响可能被这些回路的选择性光遗传学操纵阻断或模仿。

因此,研究人员认为,基于纹状小体的回路功能的兴奋抑制动力学的改变可能是一个潜在的机制,通过这个机制,慢性应激导致冲突中异常决策的发生。
