Biomaterials:多功能纳米微球可用于影像引导的肿瘤治疗

为此,研究人员开发了一种多功能纳米系统,可通过将化学治疗剂(盐酸阿霉素,DOX)和光敏药物二氢卟酚e6(Ce6)加载到介孔二氧化锆(ZrO2)层的通道中来显著提高癌症治疗效果,该介孔层覆盖在Nd3 +上掺杂的上转换纳米粒子(UCNP)。作为对温度敏感的相变材料(PCM),在由近红外(NIR)光照射引发的温度升高的条件下,负载的十四烷用作控制DOX和活性氧(ROS)释放的开关。从暴露在近红外激光下的UCNPs核产生的高温会使肿瘤部位的温度升高到47.8°C。合成后的UCNPs@ZrO2-Ce6/DOX/PCM纳米系统通过在温和的NIR激光照射下(0.5 W cm-2,5分钟后中断5分钟)通过静脉注射入U14荷瘤小鼠中显示出优异的体内协同作用分钟的辐射。

总之,我们的实验结果表明,精心设计的UCNPs@ZrO2-Ce6/DOX/PCM可以作为理想的纳米平台,用于多种影像引导的肿瘤治疗。
