中性粒细胞所使用的一种不同形式的防御机制,是挤压染色质网络(包含蛋白酶、组蛋白和胞浆蛋白)进入称之为中性粒细胞胞外网状陷阱(extracellular trap (NET))形成的过程中。NETs是1996年发现的一种不同于凋亡或坏死的细胞死亡形式。 名词NETosis则解释了中性粒细胞产生和释放NET的过程。这一过程通过使中性粒细胞固定和捕获病毒、细菌或真菌,在天然免疫反应中起着重要作用。 NET由很多很多因素诱导产生,包括:微生物体,自身抗体,细胞因子,免疫复合物,在体外可以有PMA和钙离子载体诱导。 导致NETosis的机制还不是完全清楚,但是组蛋白瓜氨酸化和ROS产生是必需的。 什么是NETosis? NETosis是中性粒细胞的炎性细胞死亡方式。活化的中性粒细胞通过向细胞外释放由解聚的染色质和细胞内颗粒蛋白组成的细胞捕获网(Neutrophil extracellular traps,NETs),以捕获和杀死病原体。在NETs形成过程中伴随着中性粒细胞的死亡,这种新型的死亡方式不同于细胞凋亡和细胞坏死,被称为NETosis。 NETosis一词最初被用来表示中性粒细胞在离开网
