据国家卫生健康委员会官方网站报告，5月16日0—24时，31个省（自治区、直辖市）和新疆生产建设兵团报告新增确诊病例5例，其中境外输入病例2例（天津1例，广东1例），本土病例3例（均在吉林）；无新增死亡病例；新增疑似病例2例，均为境外输入病例（内蒙古1例，上海1例）。

Chinese health authority said Sunday that it received reports of five new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland Saturday, of which two were imported.

The other three cases were domestically transmitted and reported in Jilin province, the National Health Commission said in its daily report.

No deaths related to the disease were reported on Saturday, according to the commission.

当日新增治愈出院病例8例，解除医学观察的密切接触者633人，重症病例减少1例。

境外输入现有确诊病例44例（含重症病例3例），现有疑似病例4例。累计确诊病例1700例，累计治愈出院病例1656例，无死亡病例。

截至5月16日24时，据31个省（自治区、直辖市）和新疆生产建设兵团报告，现有确诊病例86例（其中重症病例10例），累计治愈出院病例78227例，累计死亡病例4634例（吉林核增1例），累计报告确诊病例82947例（吉林核增1例），现有疑似病例4例。累计追踪到密切接触者739545人，尚在医学观察的密切接触者4724人。

Eight COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospital after recovery on the Chinese mainland Saturday.

Altogether 78,227 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital by the end of Saturday.

As of Saturday, a total of 82,947 confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported on the mainland, and 4,634 people had died of the disease.

31个省（自治区、直辖市）和新疆生产建设兵团报告新增无症状感染者12例（境外输入1例）；当日无转为确诊病例；当日解除医学观察58例（境外输入1例）；尚在医学观察无症状感染者515例（境外输入30例）。
　　

累计收到港澳台地区通报确诊病例1537例。其中，香港特别行政区1052例（出院1022例，死亡4例），澳门特别行政区45例（出院44例），台湾地区440例（出院389例，死亡7例）。
