卡西酮滥用的问题或许可通过疫苗解决

卡西酮（Cathinone）是一种在阿拉伯茶（khat）中发现的一元胺生物碱（monoaine alkaloid）。人工合成的卡西酮，能够模拟植物中发现的刺激作用，也经常被作为消遣性毒品的重要组成部分，在美国通常被叫做浴盐，这类药物的过量使用会引发危及生命的副作用，如器官衰竭等。

近日，研究人员为合成的卡西酮（浴盐）开发了疫苗。这种疫苗能够消除卡西酮对大脑的影响，这可能有助于经历复发的吸毒者的康复。

新疫苗靶对两种合成类卡西酮非常有效，它们分别为亚甲基二氧吡咯戊酮（MDPV）和α-吡咯烷酮戊二酮（α-PVP）。由于这些非法药物的化学结构经常被改变以规避药物法律，因此开发一种对多种合成卡西酮有效的疫苗是非常重要的。这项新研究的结果显示，接种疫苗的啮齿类动物产生了大量的抗体，这些抗体紧紧附着在血液中的MDPV和α-PVP。这种免疫反应能够降低MDPV的兴奋效应。研究人员观察到接种大鼠与未处理的大鼠相比，MDPV诱导的运动显著减少，并显著缩短了MDPV诱导的活性。
