来自托马斯·杰斐逊大学的研究人员已经发现了再血栓形成中,起着至关重要作用的分子,为研制全新的血液稀释药物带来新思路。

完整的研究报告发表于《国家公共图书馆》杂志中。在血栓研究领域,既要做到阻止血栓的形成,又不能影响血小板正常的功能。当出现伤口时,血小板就会迅速被激活,它们一个又一个的连接起来形成血小板栓,血小板不断变化形状,把红细胞包围起来,继而为了帮助伤口愈合,血小板栓会齐心协力,拉近伤口的两端。血块收缩的过程也会使其他游浮的血栓球集中起来。

在先前的研究中,科学家已经确定如果没有CIB1蛋白质就不会形成血栓。为了研究这种可能性,研究人员进行了一系列的试验,试验结果证明,CIB1是抗血栓药物的最好目标,研究人员表示:“如果我们可以阻隔CIB1,那就可以在不阻碍血小板正常功能的情况下,阻隔血栓的形成。而且,进一步来说,可以很大程度上预防心脏病和中风的发生。
