JAMIA:出生月份原来真的可以影响一个人的健康

出生月份可显著影响个体一生所患的疾病,先前的研究表明出生月份与许多疾病,包括动脉粥样硬化、哮喘、多动症以及近视有关,此外尚有许多疾病并未明确与出生月份之间的关系。本次回顾性研究的目的是为了探讨季节对个体出生和一生所患疾病的影响。


近日又有研究表明出生月份与个体一生所患疾病有关,该研究成果于2015年6月2日在线发表于J Am Med Inform Assoc.

出生月份可显著影响个体一生所患的疾病,先前的研究表明出生月份与许多疾病,包括动脉粥样硬化、哮喘、多动症以及近视有关,此外尚有许多疾病并未明确与出生月份之间的关系。本次回顾性研究的目的是为了探讨季节对个体出生和一生所患疾病的影响。

研究数据包含了1900-2000年出生在纽约-长老会医院/哥伦比亚大学医学中心1749400名个体。使用logistic回归模型模拟出生月份与1688种疾病之间的关系,并使用多重校正的卡方检验来探究出生日期与疾病之间的关联强度。

结果发现,55种疾病与出生月份之间具有明显的相关关系,这其中19中疾病已被既往所研究报道 (P < .001),20种与所报道相关疾病关系密切,16种疾病以往并无相关研究。不同疾病之间发病率明显不同。

总而言之,个体一生所患疾病与其出生月份有关,季节依赖的早期发育机制可能促进了疾病的发生。
