Minerva Biotechnologies是一家生物制药公司，专注于开发癌症免疫疗法，近日宣布，美国FDA已批准huMNC2-CAR44 T细胞疗法的研究性新药申请（IND）。huMNC2-CAR44 T细胞疗法能够靶向切割形式的MUC1（存在于超过75％的实体瘤癌细胞中）。与正常的全长MUC1不同，切割形式的MUC1是有效的生长因子受体，当肿瘤生长因子NME7AB与切割形式的MUC1的细胞外结构域结合并二聚化时，该受体具有组成型活性。Minerva打算在2019年底之前开始乳腺癌的临床试验。
