Bioinformatics:人类流感感染生物学机制研究新进展

在目前可用的方法中,有以下两点说明:1、通常用于组间比较的回归分析,并不能有效地利用转录组测量的时间序列相关的时间信息;2、在多分子途径中的基因重叠,在假设检验中被多次测量。

该作者提出了一个基于函数型数据分析的GSEA推论框架,使其可以利用基于函数型主成分分析的时间信息,并能通过弹性网络回归的功能扩展对重叠基因的影响进行松解。

其次,基因组的假设检验是Mann-Whitney U检验的延伸,他是基于相关观测值计算得出的加权秩和。

研究者通过模拟数据库,及大规模的人类流感感染后的时间进程基因表达数据库的分析,证明了其采用的方法,能得出更好的受试者工作特征曲线。并且,与其他的方法相比,该研究方法能够识别更多的人类流感感染的免疫反应相关通路。
