基于38种已确认代谢物的评分与T2D风险呈负相关关系

流行病学研究发现乳制品消费与2型糖尿病(T2D)的风险之间存在适度的反向关联。与乳制品消费相关的血浆代谢物图谱是否反映了这种关系仍不清楚。

Jean-Philippe Drouin-Chartier团队在American Journal of Nutrition杂志发表文章,研究分析了与乳制品总消耗量和特定消耗量相关的血浆代谢物,并评价所确定的多代谢物谱与T2D之间的关系。

招募了1833名PREDIMED试验的参与者。验证性队列包括试验第1年的1522名预试参与者和4932名来自护士健康研究(NHS)、护士健康研究II(NHSII)和基于美国的卫生专业人员随访研究的参与者。使用验证的FFQS评估乳品消耗量。用LC-MS分析血浆代谢物(n=385)。用弹性网正则回归和10倍交叉验证程序确定了乳制品相关代谢物的分布。在发现和验证队列中评估了代谢物谱和T2D事件之间的联系。

与PREDIMED基线发现队列中确定的每个乳制品类别的消费相关的所有独特代谢物的回归系数图。

乳制品总摄入量与38种代谢物有关C14:0鞘磷脂(正系数)、 c34:0磷脂酰乙醇胺(正系数)和γ-丁基甜菜碱(负系数)与乳制品的总消耗量和特定消耗量呈正相关。在发现队列中,自我报告的乳制品总摄入量与相应的多代谢产物组合预测的乳制品总摄入量的皮尔逊相关系数为0.37(95%CI,0.33-0.40) ,在美国队列中为0.16(95% CI,0.13-0.19)。在调整了 T2D 风险因素后,乳制品摄入量相关的代谢物总分值越高,T2D风险越低[HR per 1 SD; 发现队列 0.76(95% CI,0.63-0.90) ; US验证队列: 0.88(95%CI,0.78-0.99)]。
