9月6日,2020未来科学大奖获奖名单在北京揭晓,哈尔滨医科大学第一附属医院教授张亭栋、上海交通大学教授王振义院士获“生命科学奖”,中国科学院金属研究所研究员卢柯院士获“物质科学奖”,山东大学教授彭实戈院士获“数学与计算机科学奖”。

“生命科学奖”授予张亭栋、王振义,旨在奖励他们发现三氧化二砷(俗称砒霜)和全反式维甲酸对急性早幼粒细胞白血病的治疗作用。20世纪70年代,张亭栋及其同事的研究首次明确三氧化二砷可以治疗急性早幼粒细胞白血病;20世纪80年代,王振义和同事首次在病人体内证明全反式维甲酸对急性早幼粒细胞白血病有显着的治疗作用。张亭栋和王振义的工作在国际上得到了验证和推广,使三氧化二砷和全反式维甲酸成为当今全球治疗急性早幼粒细胞白血病的标准药物,拯救了众多患者的生命。

卢柯因其开创性的发现和利用纳米孪晶结构及梯度纳米结构以实现铜金属的高强度、高韧性和高导电性而获奖。

彭实戈因其在倒向随机微分方程理论、非线性Feynman-Kac公式和非线性数学期望理论中的开创性贡献而获奖。

未来科学大奖于2016年设立,是中国大陆首个由科学家和企业家群体共同发起的民间科学奖项,评审体系主要参考诺贝尔奖、图灵奖等国际著名奖项,采取提名邀约制和国际同行评议制,每年评选一次,单项奖金为100万美元。

未来科学大奖强调奖励在大中华地区完成,产生巨大国际影响,具有原创性、长期重要性或经过了时间考验的科研工作,旨在推动突破性基础科学研究、表彰优秀科学家、吸引全球科技人才、促进科学事业发展。2016年至今,大奖共评选出包括薛其坤、施一公、袁隆平、王贻芳在内的20位获奖者,获得了科学和社会领域的广泛认可。

每项奖金由四位捐赠人共同捐赠:“生命科学奖”捐赠人为丁健、李彦宏、沈南鹏、张磊;“物质科学奖”捐赠人为邓锋、吴亚军、吴鹰、徐小平;“数学与计算机科学奖”捐赠人为丁磊、江南春、马化腾、王强。

11月16-22日将举行未来科学大奖周,为期一周的议程主要包括与知名高校合作举办获奖人学术报告会,对具备前沿、交叉、应用特征的学科或领域进行深入探讨的病毒与人类健康国际论坛、产学研论坛、青少年对话获奖人及颁奖典礼。
