Sci Rep:膀胱癌患者中的循环蛋白组特征用于开发生物标记

临床相关早期诊断和预后蛋白生物标记的鉴定对最优化治疗效果和预防癌症恶化是非常必要的。最近,有研究人员确定了是否血浆蛋白异常可以作为膀胱癌早期诊断的一个替代工具。

研究人员从低等级无肌层浸润膀胱癌患者和健康对照中采取了血浆样本并进行了分析,并在一个独立的癌症患者和对照队列中进行了进一步的验证。研究人员共鉴定了15个差异表达的蛋白,与对照相比其中12个为显著上调的蛋白,3个为显著下调的蛋白。Ingenuity Pathways Analysis(IPA)分析阐释了这些差异表达的基因与免疫性疾病、炎症疾病以及趋化因子和细胞因子信号通路介导的癌症和NF-kB转录因子相关。在3个验证过的蛋白中,触珠蛋白能够明显的区分低等级膀胱癌患者和对照,且具有高度的敏感性和特异性(AUC>0.87)。

最后,研究人员指出,膀胱癌中已经鉴定了一些生物标记蛋白。触珠蛋白是一个值得进一步调查的候选蛋白,以验证其作为膀胱癌早期诊断标记的使用价值和功能意义。
