研究人员是利用卵清蛋白诱导的AR小鼠模型进行研究的。他们分析了过敏性症状、鼻粘膜嗜酸性细胞数量和鼻腔灌洗液中的炎症细胞水平,以及血清,免疫球蛋白E(lgE)、白介素-4(IL-4)、IL-5、IL-13、干扰素-γ(IFN-γ)和IL-10的水平以及相关情况。研究发现,AM能够减少鼻粘膜中嗜酸性细胞的数量和减少鼻腔灌洗液中炎症细胞的水平。血清 IgE、IL-4、IL-5和IL-13水平减少,而IFN-γ和IL-10水平增加。IL-4、IL-5和IL-13的相对mRNA水平也可以通过AM治疗减少。AM可以增加CD4+ CD25+ Foxp3+ T 细胞在脾和鼻淋巴细胞中的比例。AM还能通过抑制mRNA表达和NF-κB p65的DNA结合活性减少NF-kB的活性。然而,AM对IκBα的mRNA没有明显的影响。总之,AM能够减少p-NF-κB p65鼻粘膜蛋白的表达。

最后,研究人员指出,AM能够通过增加CD4+ CD25+ Foxp3+ T 细胞水平和抑制NF-κB的激活来减少炎症细胞因子的分泌。
