Blood:ERFE,一种新发现的激素,在红细胞生成过程中的作用。

ERFE是有核红细胞受促红细胞生成素刺激后分泌的一种糖蛋白类激素,可抑制铁调素的表达,从而增加铁的吸收和动员。

Erythroferrone(ERFR),是一种新发现的激素,是有核红细胞受促红细胞生成素刺激后分泌的一种糖蛋白类激素,可抑制铁调素的表达,从而增加铁的吸收和动员。以Erythroferrone-铁调素轴为枢纽的铁稳态调节机制与慢性肾脏病患者的贫血程度、肾病进展、炎症反应等病理生理机制密切相关。近日,Blood杂志上发表了一篇关于用免疫组化检测人血清Erythroferrone的文章。

研究人员已在小鼠模型中验证,失血或予以促红细胞生成素治疗时,ERFE的mRNA表达量上调、血清蛋白浓度增加,ERFE作用于肝细胞抑制铁调素,从而增加铁的转运,进而促进红细胞生成。

研究人员还发现在未予以输血的β地中海贫血的小鼠模型中,ERFE可以诱导病理性的铁调素抑制和铁过负荷。

失血或予以促红细胞生成素均会增加人类血清ERFE浓度,β地中海贫血的患者,无论有没有输过血,血清中ERFE的水平均较高,但会在输血后有所下降。

ERFE的研究发现为研究人类正常或异常红细胞生成开辟了新的研究方向,此外,ERFE对铁代谢的影响需要进一步深入研究。
