研究结果表明,该风险元件通过一个抑制回路,能够影响HOXA13和HOTTIP的表达,但是在HOXA位点的其他基因并不受影响。研究人员还对HOXA13进行了过表达,从而进一步的探究该风险元件是通过什么机制产生PCa风险。
