Nat Commun: 磁性石墨纳米胶囊无痛检测幽门螺杆菌

报道了一项来自湖南大学的研究团队的突破性研究成果。利用稳定的磁性石墨纳米胶囊(MGNs),来实现原位定向核磁共振成像(MRI),从而检测幽门螺杆菌感染情况

幽门螺杆菌(Helicobacter pylori)感染与多种疾病的成因有关。尽管前人已经做了大量的研究,由于胃粘膜的强酸性和其酶环境,目前为止无痛、快速的幽门螺杆菌原位检测依然是个很大的挑战。

在此,Nature Commun报道了一项来自湖南大学的研究团队的突破性研究成果。利用稳定的磁性石墨纳米胶囊(MGNs),来实现原位定向核磁共振成像(MRI),从而检测幽门螺杆菌感染情况。外层石墨烯图层有效保护了磁芯免受胃中强酸环境腐蚀,保证了核磁共振成像的清晰对比度。人工合成并改性的硼酸聚乙二醇分子被用在了磁性石墨纳米胶囊表面,定向核磁共振成像检测。在一个感染幽门螺杆菌的小鼠模型中,通过核磁共振T2加权成像和功能化的磁性石墨纳米胶囊拉曼光谱成像,均特异性的检出了幽门螺杆菌。

研究结果表明,磁性石墨纳米胶囊的核磁共振成像技术进一步发展,使其有望成为苛刻环境下的新型诊断方法和极具应用前景的生物成像平台。
