Int J Nanomed:氧化石墨烯是否可危害神经系统?

在本研究中,研究人员探究了氧化石墨烯(GO)和氧化还原石墨烯(rGO)材料对PC12细胞(一种传统神经细胞系)的生物学效应。结果发现GO和rGO对PC12细胞有显著毒性作用,且呈剂量和时间依赖方式。此外,凋亡似乎是对毒性的反应的结果。通过细胞周期分析显示,GO和rGO暴露后G0/G1期PC12细胞数量增加。暴露于GO和rGO后,与细胞周期调节和凋亡有关的ERK信号分子的磷酸化水平显著改变。

总之,该研究结果表明,GO比rGO具有更强的毒性作用,凋亡和细胞周期阻滞是GO和rGO治疗的主要毒性反应,其机制或是由于ERK通路的调节。
