JACC:国内学者揭示年龄-性别在血管硬化中的交互作用

动脉硬化是血管老化过程的中心环节。传统上,血管研究主要集中在动脉粥样硬化性血管疾病上,而动脉僵硬并没有引起太多的关注。本研究的目的是评估面临心血管疾病高负担的中国人群动脉硬化的终生轨迹,尤其是年龄-性别的相互作用和潜在的决定因素。本研究纳入分析了80415名检测过肱踝脉搏波速度(baPWV)的正常人群,结果表明年龄相关的动脉硬化程度存在性别差异,从青春期到58岁的男性血管硬化程度更高,而此后的女性

动脉硬化是血管老化过程的中心环节。传统上,血管研究主要集中在动脉粥样硬化性血管疾病上,而动脉僵硬并没有引起太多的关注。本研究的目的是评估面临心血管疾病高负担的中国人群动脉硬化的终生轨迹,尤其是年龄-性别的相互作用和潜在的决定因素。

本研究纳入分析了80415名检测过肱踝脉搏波速度(baPWV)的正常人群,结果表明年龄相关的动脉硬化程度存在性别差异,从青春期到58岁的男性血管硬化程度更高,而此后的女性血管硬化程度更高。绝经后妇女baPWV升高的部分原因是因为女性的血管危险因素与动脉僵硬的关系比男性更为密切。年龄和收缩压是baPWV最强相关因素,除低密度脂蛋白胆固醇外,其他血管和代谢危险因素显示出中等强度的一致相关性。

研究结果显示,动脉硬化中显着的年龄-性别交互作用为解释绝经后妇女心血管疾病风险增高提供了重要线索。
