手足癣是皮肤科最常见的疾病之一。为了使国内的皮肤科专业医生及基层医生更好更规范的诊治手足癣，国内医学真菌专家分别于2017年和2020年编写出版了中国手癣和足癣诊疗指南和“指南”的基层医生实践版，这两个指南对广大的皮肤科医生及全科医生均起到了非常好的临床指导作用。
