Official publication of the Vereinigung für Angewandte Botanik, Göttingen, Germany. The journal, first published in 1902, is the established forum for the exchange of scientific information on all aspects of applied botany and related scientific fields. In addition to original research papers, each issue includes book reviews. More than 80% of all contributions are in English. Titles and summaries of all articles are given in English and German. Discontinued in 2003. Continued by Journal of Applied Botany and Food Quality (1613-9216).
