V.C.O.T. covers orthopaedics and traumatology in veterinary medicine as well as common approaches in human and veterinary medicine. By advancing traumatology through the documentation of practical experience, the journal aims at fulfilling scientists' need for new information in the field. International authors use V.C.O.T. as a platform for publishing the latest scientific research in the field. All articles conform to a high scientific standard and are written in English. Review articles, original papers and case reports strive to inform the reader about newer and gentler operating techniques, improved materials for implants and the latest in basic research. Congress reports and abstracts of the societies' annual meetings regularly help readers stay up-to-date and expand their knowledge.
