一、钒

罗伯特·吉勒(Robert M.Giller)医师在(天然方剂)一书中强调,钒是一种天然的元素,对许多糖尿病息者都很有帮助。糖尿病息者可以缓冲形式摄取,而其类胰岛拿性质可以增加肌肉与肝脏对葡萄糖、蛋白质的吸收。

比利时布鲁塞尔的研究人员利用实验动物进行研究,结果发现钒化合物会利用不同的讯息路径(signaling pathway),模拟胰岛素的活性。摄取乙醯丙酮酸钒(vanadylacetylacetonate)的动物在血浆或组织中都含有大量的钒,这可能是由于乙藏丙酮酸钒在肠道的吸收性非常好的缘故。有机的钒化合物,特别是乙醯丙酮酸钒,比钒硫酸盐( vanadyl sulfate)更能安全而有效地矫正糖尿病大鼠的高血糖症与肾脏糖解障碍。

这不只表示乙醯丙酮酸钒在肠道的吸收较好,更显示出乙醯丙酮酸钒的类胰岛紊活性较高。高血糖症表示循环血液中所含的葡萄糖浓度较高,在糖尿病患尤其严重。西班牙的研究人员利用年轻与年老的 spragye-dawley品系大鼠进行研究,结果印证了接受钒或钒酸盐治疗的大鼠,肾脏中所含的钒浓度比未接受治疗的大鼠高。

法国的研究人员针对来自法国与美国加州等不同地区的68种葡萄酒进行研究,以明了其钒的含量。结果发现,红酒中所含的钒浓度,从每公升7~90微克不等,白酒中所含的钒浓度,则从每公升6.6-43.9微克不等。葡萄酒存放的时间愈久,其中所含的钒就愈多。最后,研究人员从本研究推知,法国人平均每人每天从饮食中摄取11微克的钒。

美国人所罹患的健康问题中,糖尿病、肥胖,以及血管疾病都名列前茅,表示社会大众都过于轻忽钒的重要性。目前尚不清楚钒的饮食需求量,一般的西方饮食每天大约可以提供15~30微克的钒。可以提供钒的食物,包括:蘑菇、荷兰芹、莳萝,以及黑胡椒。目前市面上可以买到许多不同配方的钒,例如:钒硫酸盐。

二、锰

锰元素能刺激胰岛细胞分泌与释放胰岛素,锰缺乏会引起前胰岛素M-PNA水平降低,致使胰岛素生成减少。

锰离子是细胞内的天然免疫激活剂和警报素,目前主要研究认为可以提高肿瘤免疫治疗的效果(详细见:Cell Res: “锰免疗法”——锰离子可以提高肿瘤免疫治疗的应答率)。

最近一项研究发现,研究人员从全国妇女健康计划观察研究(WHI-OS)中纳入了84285名没有糖尿病史的绝经后妇女。然后在参与WHI临床试验(WHI-CT)的62338名妇女中进行了重复分析。发现较高的锰摄入量与较低的2型糖尿病风险直接相关,而与已知危险因素无关(详细见:饮食中锰、血浆炎症标志物与绝经后妇女2型糖尿病的关系

当然,锰也不能补太多,否则会导致肌张力增加,血压升高等不良问题出现了。

三、锌

雅罗斯拉夫尔州立大学的科学家们证明了微量元素的浓度变化与前驱糖尿病之间的关系,在此过程中,研究人员发现锌对于2型糖尿病起到了至关重要的作用,获得的数据表明,锌代谢紊乱对于糖尿病的发展非常重要。单个微量元素,其中包括锌、铬、钒等对胰岛素信号的转导作用。同时,许多有毒金属,如镉、汞也会导致胰岛素抵抗的形成,这是发展为2型糖尿病的先决信号。

这项研究的结果强调锌代谢对于糖尿病发病机理的重要性。此外,研究人员建议评估体内锌水平,了解这种疾病的风险,可以将含有锌的食品添加剂作为一项2型糖尿病的预防措施。详细见:J Trace Elem Med Biol:科学家首次证实锌对于2型糖尿病的神奇作用

最近还发现锌具有抗腹泻(详细见:NEJM:低剂量锌用于儿童腹泻的疗效),以及用于新冠肺炎的辅助治疗作用。

四、铬

美国《食物与营养百科全书》总结铬在人体内的功能有三项:①它是活性铬—葡萄糖耐量因子(GTF)的组成成分,能协助胰岛素发挥作用,促进机体碳水化合物、脂肪代谢的正常进行;②它是核糖核酸和脱氧核糖核酸的稳定剂;③它是某些酶的激活剂。

胰岛素起作用要消耗铬。每个分子的胰岛素起作用都要消耗2个原子的铬。而铬与钙元素不同,人体内的铬一旦被动员,就不会再回吸收利用,身体只能利用10%左右,其他的铬都通过尿而排泄。尿铬的化验与尿锌不同,尿锌过高,说明体内锌太多,而尿铬高反而说明铬的丢失严重,尿铬越高缺铬越严重。所以糖尿病病程越长,用药量越大,缺铬越严重。而缺铬又加重胰岛素抵抗,这就是糖尿病人为什么血糖越来越难控制,并发症越来越多的重要原因。

1999年天津的专家对糖尿病人补铬4周后,发现病人的餐后2小时血糖明显下降,有效率达60%~73.3%,表明铬确有辅助降糖作用,可见铬在糖尿病预防中有重要意义。

微量元素铬有多种价态,常见的为3价和6价,价态不同性质也不同。6价铬对身体有毒害作用,绝对不能食用。对我们身体有益的是3价铬,有充分的证据表明,每天口服1000微克的3价铬是绝对安全的。

普通的3价铬(无机)在体内吸收率低、活性差,只有与氨基酸复合成活性铬—葡萄糖耐量因子(GTF)后,才能表现出较强的生理功能。

铬在体内是以活性铬形式被利用的。各种研究表明:糖尿病人对活性铬的需求量大,并且不能将饮食中的无机铬合成足够的活性铬。为避免糖尿病人体内的有限活性铬资源耗尽,宜直接食用从啤酒酵母或牛初乳中提取的活性铬,但这两种铬提取和提纯难度较大。可喜的是,在我国体外合成活性铬已取得突破性进展,这种活性铬可被身体直接利用,临床应用效果很好。

在自然界中,含铬比较高的谷物类是小麦的麸皮,每kg含50μg,其次是山野菜及坚果类15~50μg/kg。海产品稍高约100μg/kg。动物肝脏内约10-30μg/kg。啤酒酵母内含铬约5~10μg/kg。用上述食物补铬对健康人可以防止缺铬,每日补充量为50μg左右。但糖尿病人每天至少需要200μg铬。

人们生活中经常食用的禽、鱼的铬含量都偏低,水果、蔬菜及谷类制品中的铬含量差别较大。目前已经知道:动物的肝脏、啤酒酵母、黑胡椒及牛初乳中含有较高的铬,常吃这样的食品对身体补铬有益。

五、镁

镁是胰岛素的第二信使,缺镁会阻断胰岛素各种效应的发挥,干扰细胞代谢的正常进行。新近研究表明,糖尿病者伴发心、肾、视网膜及神经病变合并症可能与缺镁有一定关系。血清镁水平与这些并发症发生率呈负相关。在血清镁很低的情况下,糖尿病人仍有大量镁从尿中排出。因此,第五届国际镁会议报道,镁元素可改善糖耐量,减少胰岛素的用量。

六、硒

日本国立健康营养研究所发现硒元素能明显促进细胞对糖的摄取,具有与胰岛素相同的调节糖代谢的生理活性。

另外,糖尿病病人中60-80%存在营养不良或不均衡的情况。特别是矿物质和微量元素。1型糖尿病患者常存在维生素A、B1、B2、B6、C、D、E等缺乏。在2型糖尿病患者中,以B族维生素、β-胡萝卜素及维生素C、D、E缺乏较为常见。

当然,梅斯医学小编也提醒大家:微量元素很重要,在糖尿病的预防中很重要,但是,一旦患上糖尿病,仅仅靠补充微量元素,是很难逆转的,仍然需要降糖药物进行治疗,微量元素的补充只是辅助作用。
